The Whirlpool family introduced new brands: Indesit and Hotpoint
The Whirlpool brand was presented at this year’s IFA for the first time ever. It did so in combination with its traditional partners Bauknecht and KitchenAid and 2 novelties: the manufacturers Indesit and Hotpoint. All of the Whirlpool Corporation family brands exhibited collectively in hall 9 on an incredible area of 3,200 m². Thanks to the exhibited novelties, it was at the centre of attention of all the participants during the trade fair.
Bauknecht focussed on the smart home concept
Bauknecht introduced the BLive App mobile app for smartphones and tablets. It connected the app with premium models of its washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers. If you choose any of these products, simply download the app and you control them remotely.
KitchenAid placed its bet on an innovative blender
The KitchenAid stand was among the most visited. It scored with a new magnetic mixer with the typically perfect design and absolutely genius functions. The magnets firmly fix the mixer in place and the extra powerful motor instantly prepares all sorts of delicacies, from refreshing sorbet to healthy smoothies.
Indesit shortened the time of washing and drying laundry
Indesit delighted visitors with washers and dryers with extremely short programs. But that’s not all: The designers of this popular Italian brand also focussed on the more convenient use of traditional appliances. They modified the interior of refrigerators and freezers so that they now offer absolutely flexible interior space, which you can arrange as needed.
